Haig Point Club and Community on Daufuskie Island has made environmental preservation and community enhancement a top priority.
Our Mission
To engage Daufuskie Island residents in supporting community enhancements, to provide emergency funds for hurricanes and other natural disasters and to award scholarships for college & continued education.
In 2021 the Foundation first earned the Guidestar Silver Seal of Transparency. Last year the Foundation achieved the 2024 Platinum Seal which signifies ongoing commitment to transparency.

The Haig Point Foundation will achieve its mission by: Undertaking Daufuskie Island community enhancement projects as identified; Building & maintaining an Emergency Fund of $50,000, Coordinating our efforts with other Daufuskie Island non-profit organizations; and Organizing fundraising efforts to solicit contributions from individuals, corporations and government grants.
